Physician Innovations specializes in applying process improvement and technology to improve the operational and financial capacity of all clinicians.  We are based in Birmingham, Alabama and have a broad range of expertise in both healthcare and information technology.  Our fundamental philosophy involves listening closely to the needs of our clients and creating custom solutions for each specific situation.  We are generous with our time so every client can become comfortable with the technology.  Our job is to handle the complexity of computing so our clients can focus on practicing medicine and helping their patients.

Management Team

Marc Krawitz, President

Mr. Krawitz has twelve years of professional experience in the information technology industry. His responsibilities at Fortune 500 organizations have included software development, architecture, requirements and process analysis, software testing, quality assurance, professional training / consulting, and project management. Marc has extensive experience in the healthcare informatics space after having key roles at Computer Sciences Corporation and Emageon. He has taught university continuing education courses in healthcare IT on multiple occasions. Mr. Krawitz has completed a Bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA degree from UAB.

Meg Bruck, Vice-President of Consulting

Ms. Bruck has ten years of professional experience in the information technology sector. She has held technical and management positions at several large healthcare enterprises including MetroPlus in New York City before returning to complete her Master's degree in Health Informatics. Ms. Bruck is particularly adept at understanding process problems and architecting innovative solutions to them.
